Roberta's Society

Roberta’s Society is a hostel and a cultural house located in a former 1930s library in the heart of Aarhus, where accommodation, dining, and social experiences come together under one roof. The building has been carefully preserved, keeping its original character while adding new energy through shared spaces, events, and a strong focus on community.

Roberta’s Society offers a concept with both private rooms and shared dorms, alongside Cantina restaurant, Lobby bar, and Roberta’s Stage perfect for live music, talks, performances, and spontaneous gatherings. The atmosphere is informal and open, designed for guests, locals, and visitors in-between.

The concept is built around community and everyday cultural life, where food, music, and shared experiences play a central role. The hotel is part of Kolpin Hotels and follows The Green Act, the group’s sustainability journey, and holds Green Key certification. The focus is on working more responsibly in daily operations through areas such as waste reduction, energy use, local sourcing, and more conscious routines across the property.

The aim is to keep developing a place where sustainability is integrated quietly into how things are done, while maintaining the social, creative, and slightly unexpected spirit that defines Roberta’s Society.
