The Buddha Bowl Project is a small eatery in central Vejle with both on-site dining and take-away.

Functional Food

The Buddha Bowl Project's food is fundamentally based on being healthy and nutritious and high in protein. The dishes are i.a. built around the concept of Functional Food that is cut to the bone can be defined as Food that is specifically designed to have specific effects that can promote health or prevent disease.

They have also just opened a new restaurant at Billund Airport.

Environmental efforts

Sustainable food

The Buddha Bowl Project uses ecology where it can be economically defended and has the Silver Label at the 'Organic Food Label', which means that the restaurant runs with 60-90% ecology. Work is being done to keep food waste down, and the place has an agreement with Daka Refood to collect food waste.

Sustainable lifestyle

In addition, the store sells products that can support sustainable development. This applies to both recycled products for take-away, but also clothes produced from recycled products and other products that promote the sustainable lifestyle.
